When you fail a Dexterity saving throw, as a reaction, you can expend a spell slot to attempt to save instead. The higher the spell slot, the better the attempt: a level 1 slot lets you reroll, a level 2 slot lets you reroll with advantage, and a level 3 or higher automatically succeeds the save.
