Introductions

Indigo: Warforged - 5’6” bronze and hardened purple glass (humanoid)

  • heading to rented guild hall

  • Burghest Hall, nice district (3-storey row homes) our home

  • too good of a deal, probably haunted

  • super shabby inside.

  • indigo has stars in eyes, is excited to be Cinderella

  • craig rolls like craig

  • indigo is ambushed

  • NPC gets nervous about more of us, starts to leave

  • john-jon introduces himself, former guild member, fell on hard times, offers services

  • they clean up the place together


Genesis Jones:  LORGE dude, 30's, mustache, blue-tinged, aquatic vibe, navy/sailor from Svel

  • looking for a nerd (guild steward). "Who's got glasses.. round if possible"

  • heading to Pheasant and Flagon tavern

  • he's excited to be part of a group again, big softy

  • tavern is packed, orders celebratory ale, everyone hurrahs him

  • halfling - Mazey Peppers - GJ is enamoured with her smarts.

  • Hires her, she jumps up on to his bicep and flexes at the other nerd table "I'll show YOU" love this energy


Ash: Silver Dragon born - 5'2", stalky, loose chill clothing, barefoot (former crime-fighter/superhero (in her own mind) grew up around nobility and formality

  • going to the guild masters hall to get the writ

  • omg bureaucracy

  • comes up to a large fancy frog man in a cravat (Fibius Grog)

  • Ash is so ready to register our guild - Argent Shield

  • he tried to pull one over Ash, tries to con an extra 500g. Ash is not having it

  • INTIMIDATE

  • we get guild pins!

  • oh no we're stuck with him


Edith: dwarf, Lavender hair/beard with beads/charms

  • peaches (introverted)

  • park district - St. Alabaster temple (folk hero, not deity)

  • Father Bellows Bronze (dwarf)

  • Duncan Strong (human 5'9") missing 4 days - going to the tomb for scrolls, hasn't come back, Sister Hera went looking hasn't come back either

  • should be a perfectly safe journey, not sure what happened

  • 50% up front, 50% upon completion


All meet back at the hall - wtf who is John-jon. GJ immediately goes to arm wrestle. He's hired

We all talk about our days, and pile the gold on the table - Mazey goes to work documenting it

Morning comes, work starts

Heading to the Dusk Light Cemetery

Tremmorsense - Edith feels a consistent rumble

Go into tomb, and start poking around.

  • Edith finds a loose brick, and it caved in revealing a 5x5 pit. The tomb is settling as if it were new foundation (which doesn't make sense)

  • Indigo finds a mural that's slightly inconsistent with the tales - he's casting a spell on the dragon

  • GJ peeks into the tomb - sees a corpse with a knife. Medicine check reveals corpse has been disturbed - knife is real necrotic energy

  • Ash finds the mechanism on the stone door has been broken - deliberately? Ash checks out wooden door

  • looks down sees armour and weapons all over the ground, writing on wall (in blood)

  • writing is a magic inscription, glowing slightly - "holy warrior forever bound"


we find blueprints (they found a cave and sealed it up)

we find the handle for the door

2 healing potions

hole in the wall - send in Peaches, find dead Duncan, and 3 dead Kobolds

As we head back to repair the door, the writing on the wall glows, and we get attacked!
