The Mines of Mana I
We chat a bit more with Mona regarding access to the Arcanium
Master Quintus Moore - stern fella (divination wizard)
We leave of the tavern, and head towards the Gondola station to get to the Mines
We ride with a wizard NPC but don't talk to her - she gives us a condescending smirk as she leaves the gondola. Ash gets the sense she was curious about us as first, but it soon gave way to contempt like she's better than us. Little does she know, she's made an enemy of us all.
She's headed to the mines... UGH (Professor Agatha Stagheart)
Miners are angry they can't work, but they still have to pay rent
Corky hands us his ID (crescent moon with a gem)
Going into the mines, lots of carts going to places
Has the sensation of pop rocks (tingles, sparks, colours in our prereferral vision - all from magicite dust)
Edith barges into the staff room just to check it out, and find a rubber duck tied to a chair. Indigo unties the duck and befriends it. It worked for the book, and was over thrown, tied to a chair and left to die, and now wants revenge and is willing to help us.
Break room is a Rest Area - we riffle through stuff - find two pieces of magicite, and a stick of dynamite - which nearly exploded us
We look over the ledge, down the many levels of the mine and see a bunch of animated pick axes, shovels, etc doing the book's bidding and mining for magicite
With the lift broken we walk down to the second level, and come across a couple animated shovels, and miners' clothing. ROLL INITIATIVE
We win!
Ash tells us she feels a pull of something and Edith mentions there are darker presences deep within the minds that can pull at you.
We continue on
Come to another room with scaffolding, and supplies, with a security door. We walk through the room, and to the security door, and use our pass. When we go through, we end up back at the original entrance we came in from.
We beat Tyler's puzzle with the power of friendship
Next room we face ourselves! We win! (edith needed help with defeating herself)
